Home-Water Brings Life

There is a world water crisis.

  • 6000 people, mostly children under 5, die from preventable water related illnesses every day. That’s the equivalent of 30 Boeing 747s crashing. Every day. With no holidays.
  • Americans spent about $34 billion on religious books in 2006. $11.4 billion would have provided clean drinking water and sanitation capabilities to every person on the planet.
  • In the past ten years, diarrhea has killed more children worldwide than all the people lost to armed conflict since World War II. Over 80% of the disease in developing countries is directly due to lack of clean water and sanitation.

We have the resources to bring water to every person on the planet. This isn’t pie in the sky or wishful thinking. This is possible. If you have access to this site, then you are among the richest people on the planet. We have a moral obligation to help bring a basic level of dignity and possibility for life to those who lack it.
